Ian has given up hosting duties at the open mic poetry event 'Getting Gobby in The Lobby' which he set up in 2018. The event is hopefully going to continue with new hosts in March 2023

Ian is working on the production of his next poetry collection, tentatively titled 'Denim Genes', which will be launched in 2023

Ian has restarted host duties for all the open mic events he ran pre-Covid. These will be as follows:
2nd Thursday of the month - Write Out Loud at The Old Courts (Bailiff Bar) in Wigan
4th Thursday of the month - Write Out Loud/Old Courts online event via Zoom

New BARD COMPANY album was released on November 11th 2019. Titled 'Raising The Standards' - the boys have written all but one of the 11 tracks in collaboration with John Kettle (Merry Hell) - which pay homage to Socialist heroes as well as criticising misuse of power and the rise of Fascism.
